Terms of Service

OwnRecall is operated by Moringa Software LLC. These terms apply to your use of the OwnRecall website and app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains what OwnRecall stores and who processes it.

Early access

OwnRecall is in early access. Accounts can only be created by email addresses we have added to an allowlist. If your email is not on the list, you can join the waitlist and we will email you when your account is ready. We decide who is added to the allowlist and when.

Acceptable use

You agree to use OwnRecall lawfully and only for its purpose: keeping your own context. You will not:

• capture content you do not have the right to store or process;
• try to reach another person's account, space, or data;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service or the providers it runs on;
• share your sign-in credentials or a connection link with anyone you would not trust with your data;
• use the service to break the law or to harm others.

Your content

You own what you capture and everything OwnRecall extracts from it. You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the providers named in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim any other rights to it.

The service is provided as is

During early access, OwnRecall is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Account termination

You can stop using OwnRecall at any time. To close your account and have its data deleted, email us at the address below. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may end early access. If we close your account, we will tell you at your account email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The current version is always at this address, with its effective date at the top. If a change matters to how you use the service, we will tell you at your account email before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
